This month we have two new IP blacklist slightly different from the lists we have published before: TOP100-LATEST-IP and TOP100-1D-IP. These new lists are the result of our BigData crunching processes over the hundreds thousands of IP addresses analyzed every day. You can visually see it on our IP addresses Blacklist Ranking page updated every hour:

Apilityio Blacklist IP Addresses Ranking

The blacklists TOP100-1D-IP and TOP100-LATEST-IP are the first of their class because they are the perfect example of how a Data Scientists can fish in the huge Data Lake we are creating to help our customers to avoid malicious users.

TOP100-LATEST-IP blacklist

This blacklist contains the top 100 IP addresses with the most entries in any of our blacklists. This blacklist is very dynamic can change a lot every hour. This list usually contains a list of dangerous IP addresses. You should track the activity from them.

This blacklist updates every 60 minutes and has exactly 100 IP addresses like the name says.

TOP100-1D-IP blacklist

This blacklist contains the IP addresses with entries in the top 100 IP addresses of the blacklist ranking in the last 24 hours. This list usually contains a list of dangerous IP addresses. You should track the activity from them.

This blacklist updates every 60 minutes and has an average of 1500 IP addresses.

How to enable these new lists

If you are new to Apility.io and you have not signed up yet (it’s free!), then you don’t need to do anything since these lists are enabled by default with all new accounts. If you already have an Apility.io account, then you have to log into the Dashboard, go to Blacklists¬†to enable and disable the lists individually.

Apility.io deselect Free Mail

As an example in the animated GIF above we are enabling Freemail blacklists. You should do the same with your favorite lists in the IP addresses tab.
